This is just a quick note to thank you for all your support while putting Shannon through the Cellfield reading program. This is clearly a remarkable program. Shannon has improved in every aspect of her school work, not only in English but all her subjects. She now loves reading so much that she actually took a book with her to school today to read during break (can you believe that!). Not only has her reading improved but her self confidence and self esteem have boosted beyond belief. We know have a confident enthusiastic little girl who is not scared to try anything. Homework time is no longer a dreaded nightmare but a positive, non-stressful constructive time.This was clearly and excellent decision and had I known how easy it would be and what a difference it would make in such a short period of time I would have done this years ago!

Hi Angela,

Shannon is doing fine. We finished last year with a 72% average. So Mom was thrilled.
This year seems to be much easier then last year….. Roll on matric !!!

Shelaine attended the Cellfield workshop from the 13th Of June to the 26th of June 2006. Shelaine, due to an eye convergence problem, was always below her age when it came to reading. It was also always a battle to encourage her to read in order to improve her eye muscle tone. Since this, Shelaine not only improved her reading age by a whopping average of 27.5 months, she now cannot stay away from the books. I often look for Shelaine and she is quietly propped on her bed, book in face. Other times we hear these little giggles and investigation reveals Shelaine reading. A sight seldom seen for the first 12 and half years of Shelaine's life. Her overall average and concentration at school has also increased dramatically. I would recommend this programme for any parent who has a child with reading difficulties or just to give your child the encouragement and enjoyment to read for fun.
